DOT NCR provides travel kits to OFWs in MM

PASIG CITY, April 18 (PIA) – The Department of Tourism National Capital Region (DOT NCR) brought travel essential kits to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) currently staying in various establishments in Metro Manila. 

DOT NCR Regional Director Woodrow C. Maquiling, Jr. personally led the team in handing-over travel essential kits to returning OFWs who are on mandatory self-quarantine.

Earlier, Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat mobilized the DOT’s marketing arm, the Tourism Promotions Board, to procure travel essential kits exclusively for repatriated OFWs.

Meanwhile, the DOT-NCR also advised all stranded tourists in Metro Manila affected by the enhanced community quarantine in place to coordinate with their office. (DOT NCR/PIA-NCR)
