DOTr reiterates hotlines for public’s tranpo concerns

CALOOCAN CITY, April 21 (PIA) — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Monday provided anew, its hotline numbers the public can call for any transportation concerns amid the enhanced community quarantine against COVID-19.

In a Facebook post, the DOTr said its “frontliners” are “still responding” and “providing public service” to callers of its Emergency Operations Center of Transportation located at Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) in Manila. 

Since March 19, 2020 to April 18, 2020, a total of 2,330 transport concerns have been received and met by its team, it said. 

The DOTr said those who want to ask about transportation, just call or text EOC via Globe, and call via Smart / PLDT, using the following numbers:

For inquiries about the Bus Service for Health Workers Program

For Smart / PLDT subscribers, callers can connect with one single number by dialing #840-55-500. Don’t forget to put a hashtag or number sign (#), in order to call their agents toll-free or for free.

The DOTR EOC will accept calls from 7 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8 am to 12 nn on Saturdays.

The DoTr EOC, on the other hand, is open to receive text messages 24/7.

For today’s operation, DOTr EOC Head Assistant Secretary Eymard Eje and Assistant Secretary for Railways Fidel Cruz lead partners, support staff, and call agents from various attached agencies of the Department.  (PIA NCR)
