Iligan IATF-MEID to standardize home quarantine pass
ILIGAN CITY, Apr. 15 (PIA) — The Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) here will issue a standardized home quarantine pass to tighten the social distancing measure to combat the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
FCI Butch Baulete, City Fire Marshal and IMT Incident Commander, said they received reports that some households have secured more than one quarantine pass.
The city government only allows one quarantine pass per household to buy food, medicines and other necessities, a restriction aimed at preventing the spread of the dreaded coronavirus.
Baulete said the home quarantine pass that they will issue will have control numbers.
In line with this, the IATF-MEID required all punong barangays in the city to submit the number of households in their respective barangays for the issuance of pass.
The list must be submitted before 5:00 pm today, April 15, to the Iligan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. (PIA ICIC)
