Philippine Coast Guard Commandant Admiral Joel S. Garcia called on the new PCG members to wholeheartedly and courageously serve as the country needs them and their skills to help combat the threat of COVID-19.

According to the PCG, the new frontline medical workers with the rank of Probationary Ensign will be immediately deployed at the One-Stop Shop at NAIA Terminals 1 and 2 and at the quarantine ships at the Port Area in Manila.

Recently, the PCG announced on its Facebook page its need for new registered medical technologists to augment the capacity of the PCG’s Medical service amidst the global pandemic. (PCG/PIA-NCR)
