NV’s commerce, industry sectors still coping with the ECQ
BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, April 26 (PIA) – The province’s commerce and industry sectors here are still coping with the effects of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

Magtanggol Maniquis, president of the Nueva Vizcaya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NVCCI) expressed optimism even as he said they are faced with problems on how to maintain their workers once the ECQ is extended
“Anyway the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is here assisting us in this crisis especially to our employees,” he said.
At present, Maniquis said they do their business by way of short distance pick-ups to maintain the needed various food supplies, among others for the province.
He said they are now having speedy improvements on their$ deliveries with the ECQ in place.
“We are afraid in travelling for long distance transport of goods but our business sector is resilient and trying to adhere on the guidelines of COVID-19 ECQ,” Maniquis said.
He made the statement during the recent meeting of the Provincial COVID-19 Task Force (PCOVID-19TF) at the Pasalubong Center in this town.(MDCT/BME/PIA 2-Nueva Vizcaya)
