DAVAO DEL NORTE, APRIL 6 (PIA) – Mayor Allan Rellon signs Executive Order 2020-40, placing the entire city on Enhanced Community Quarantine since April 5, 2020.

With this, more restrictions have been added to the previous policies.

According to the EO, all forms of public transportation such as jeepneys, tricycles, and multicabs are prohibited from picking up passengers.

As well, call centers, vulcanizing shops, and sari-sari stores are no longer allowed to operate.

Government employees are now to “work at home” with COVID-19 response team the only ones exempted.

However, mobile food vendors are still allowed if there are only two persons working it-one driver and one assistant.

For personal transportation, private vehicles are allowed if only three people take seat, also single motors with no backriders, and vehicles of COVID-19 City Task Force members. All public and private vehicles may not leave or enter the city.

Everyone that is seen outside shall carry a quarantine pass. Those caught without it will face legal repercussions and be directed to jail. However, shall emergencies arise, possession of a QP will not be needed. (Jan Vincent Leuterio, UM Tagum OJT/jmda)
