Ozamiz City extends general community quarantine to April 30
OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental, April 15 (PIA) – Ozamiz City has extended the timeframe of its quarantine measures until the end of the month, April 30, to stem the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Mayor Sancho Fernando Oaminal signed a new executive order on Tuesday, April 14, extending restrictions and limitations imposed under Executive Orders No.2020-SFO-10, 11, & 14 until April 30 or until the community quarantine is lifted in the province of Misamis Occidental.
It can be recalled that Misamis Occidental had recorded two confirmed cases of COVID-19 admitted at Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro Sr. Medical Center (MHARSMC) as of April 9, 2020. These patients are coming from Jimenez and Tudela towns, respectively.
He reminded the public on the safety precautions like staying at home, wearing of face masks and observing social distancing in public places.
